50th Anniversary Of the Potawatomi Trail 2014
The Potawatomi Trail Committee will be putting on the same hike as 50 years ago on the ’Charter Day’ Hike of the Potawatomi Trail
on Saturday May 17th & Sunday May 18th , 2014
Open to all Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Crews, and the General Public
We will be offering the original Charter Day Hike - approximately 8 miles
On May 17th &/or May 18th you must register for the hike at the Camp Munhacke Program Center @ 20120 Bartell Road Gregory, MI 48137 to receive your special 50th Anniversary Day Hiker 2014 patch. This is a ‘One Time Only’ patch given to those who register on the weekend of the hike (any remaining patches will be destroyed after the hike).
REGISTRATION TIMES: 9 AM - 4 PM No Hikers after 4pm do to Darkness
The cost is only $5.00 per person Credit/Debit accepted - checks payable to: Potawatomi Trail Committee
There will be “Limited Edition” Potawatomi Trail patches to honor the 50th Anniversary available to purchase, as well as a special GOLD Potawatomi Trail Medal.
Complete sets will be available to registered hikers for $30. Sets include: 2 Anniversary Day Hiker Patches (Indian & Totem Pole) available only on hike weekend, 2 Anniversary Gold Mylar patches (Indian & Totem Pole), 2 Anniversary Red border patches (Indian & Totem Pole), and 1 Gold Medal. Also 2 GST Potawatomi Trail patches (Indian & Totem Pole). Framed sets will also be available to order.
Overnight camping for Scouting Units available at: Camp Munhacke Boy Scout Camp, for reservations go to www.michiganscouting.org
